Introduction and Beginning

We are G and D. We have a kid who has her own blog so all her escapades are posted there. It won't be hers alone once we've added kids to our family, hopefully. We created this blog to include family and friends in our life and maintain a close connection while living oceans and continents apart. Thank goodness for technology.

As of today, we are awaiting full approval from our company to go overseas. We will get full approval mid-March and we will be off to training close to the end of April. We are entering transition time as we start to sell and pack our things, provide stability and security to a toddler during a major change, spend time with family, and girding ourselves up for leaving our home country and settling in another culture. It's a major transition with challenges and emotional roller coasters, as you might guess. G and I have some experience living overseas but this is the first for us as we are now a family, not singles as in our previous experiences. 

So, this ends our introduction and starts the chronicling of our life overseas. It will be an ordinary blog with pictures, descriptions, events, anecdotes, showcasing, and day-to-day living. It may include some musing and rambling.
